This beautiful looking dish was my breakfast. It is about 1 cupped hand of cooked oatmeal and another cupped hand of blackberries. I also sprinkled some walnuts over the top and cinnamon. It was very filling and I didn't need to eat for the next 4 hours or so.
I wasn't feeling very hungry so I made myself 3 scrambled eggs with handful of mushrooms and 1/2 cup of green peas. The green leaves of romaine lettuce are not just for show. It's really important to include green leaves into your diet. I like the taste and I like that they fill me up without making me feel heavy. They have many nutrients, vitamins, fibre and are very low in calories.
About 3 hours later I had this little snack out of 1 medium apple, 1 table spoon of peanut butter, a few raisins and I sprinkled the top with shredded coconut. I made it into a lettuce wrap again and it was delicious!
I had my workout about 2 hours later and I was actually shooting the next ZWOW at WIN so Darren went to some place near the studio and got me this peanut butter banana protein shake. It was really good but I was sipping it for like an hour, because it was VERY filling. However I got hungry again about 4 hours later and it was already past 8pm.
Jesse and I went to a restaurant for dinner called Hugo's and I had this grilled chicken breast with veggies on a whole wheat bun and side salad. I ate all of the chicken and veggies, but only 1/2 of the bun. I felt like it would be too much. We noticed something in the menu and took a picture of it, check it out.
Antibiotic free chicken. Right. And what about the GMO? Now I am a meat eater and so is most of the population and I don't like to be attacked by vegetarians for being cruel and selfish for eating meat as if I was killing the animals myself, but they might be onto something. Where is the old school traditional farming that does not use hormones and antibiotics to breed animals? For your information there is only one in the United States. The very last one that has completely natural and healthy poultry. It's a Good Shepherd Poultry Ranch. I won't even start about the cruelty that goes on in the consumer farming. If there was a way to change that, so that we can go back to the traditional farming and you could participate in making the change, would you?
